A school project that began with a dérive (an unplanned journey through a landscape, usually urban, in which participants stop focusing on their everyday relations to their social environment), photos of interesting things on said dérive, then choosing a few of those photos at random, tracing random objects in those photos (first on tracing paper then on illustrator), and combining them to make a piece.
This piece needed to work when flipped on any side.
A typographic project that required the creation of a new letter. A new character was the first step followed by its origin, pronunciation, and definition.
