A personal project that he hopes comes to life at some point, Passan is a concept for a restaurant/food brand. Alec loves cooking and loves cooking for people even more. The first part of the double meaning behind Passan is to “pass on”. Those things that can be passed on can be recipes, methods, food, stories about food, or stories around food. The second part is the Thai word ผสาน, pronounced like Passan, which means to combine or merge. Living in Thailand, ALEC loved the food and the culture. This is the culmination and combination of those things.
